Tone Barre is a highly effective full body workout that will burn fat, sculpt muscles, and lift your rear… all while making new friends and having fun! A unique blend of elements from ballet, Pilates, and free weights, Tone Barre incorporates isometric movements, interval training, and stretching to chisel the waistline while producing the infamous long lean muscles of a dancer. Using a combination of light weights, exercise tubing, and your own body weight for resistance, Tone Barre systemically works your whole body to tone arms, flatten abs, thin thighs, sculpt calves, and lift the seat. Please arrive 10 minutes early to your first class so we have enough time to get you checked in, set up, and explain a few pertinent items so you can have the best class possible!
Barre classes require sticky socks or bare feet (please no regular shoes or socks).
We have all the equipment you need for class at the studio and it is wiped down at the end of each class so yes it is clean!
Bring water with you to class! No sweat if you forget as we sell some in the studio as well. :)
If you would like a sweat towel for barre please bring one with you.
Wear any athletic clothing you are comfortable in but if you are wearing shorts we recommend they be form fitting as you will be lying on your back during portions of class.
