Tips and Tricks Before Your First Tone Barre Class

If you've never been to Tone Barre, you might have a few questions on what to bring and what to expect! Brittany & Jessica are giving you 4 tips & tricks you should know before your first class!

Create an Account

Just click sign up in the upper right hand corner to create an account (Or just click HERE :). You’ll need your online account to buy packages and book or cancel classes.

Buy a Class Package

You will need a package in your account to book a spot in class. We offer new clients their first month of unlimited classes at a discounted rate of $69 so you can try us out commitment free! [The package pretty much pays for itself in just 3 classes (okay fine really 3.14 classes…and yes we got that technical because it’s an awesome deal!]

Book Your Class

Now that you have a class package in your account, you’re ready to book classes! We recommend coming 2-3 times per week to really start to see results.

Get Ready for Class

Drink water before, during and after class and have a light snack 1-2 hours before your class. Wear any athletic clothing you are comfortable in although we do recommend form fitting pants or shorts.

What to Bring to Barre

- Water
- Sticky Socks (option to go barefoot as well)
- Small towel for sweat (optional)

Check in

Please arrive 10 minutes prior to the start of your first class! This is imperative so we have enough time to get you checked into class and explain a few pertinent items so you can have the best workout ever at Tone Barre! We know…traffic sucks (but seriously…), your kids pick now of all times to need something, your boss really did just walk in as you were preparing to sneak out, and your dog ate your sticky sock. Please know you run the risk of forfeiting your first class if you aren’t early as a late entry doesn’t give us time to provide injury modifications, ensure you are properly set up for class and give you all the attention you deserve!

Have Fun!

Don’t forget this is your hour and your class so you will want to listen to your body throughout class. Don’t be afraid to go at your own pace and ask questions after class if something wasn’t clear or didn’t feel right. Your instructor is there to guide, encourage, and support you!

What to tell your instructor

Feeling nervous before your first class? Coming back to working out after a long time and worried class will be too hard? Have you recently had a baby? Do you have (or have you had) any injuries in the past?

IF SO PLEASE LET YOU INSTRUCTOR KNOW!

We truly want you to get the most out of your hour at the barre and telling your instructor the above information will help them to help you modify class just for you body! If your wondering what that might mean check out this fun modification video!
